Senior Software Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a software company solving a challenging problem in a large market. We’re looking for a full-time senior software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building data-focused applications. If you’re self-motivated and eager to join a rapidly growing team at an early stage we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building python-based applications and foundational frameworks
• Developing and testing software including within the context of CI/CD framework
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise
• Mentoring & coaching of software engineers

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Deep expertise in at least one of: C, C++, C# or Java. Expertise in Python a strong plus.
• Experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform
• Experience with relational databases /SQL
• Prefer experience in ETL/ELT
• Prefer experience with a graph database(e.g., Neo4j, AnzoGraph, DataStax, Neptune)
• Prefer experience with machine-learning
